NEW SMYRNA BEACH - Mrs. Georgia Lowe Roberts, 83, resident of this community for the past 57 years, died at 1:10 a. m. today at Halifax Hospital.
Mrs. Roberts had been a patient there for a week, following a fall when she broke her leg and collarbone. The family home is in the Turnbull Bay section.
She was the widow of Thomas H. Roberts, who died last November. She was born Dec. 26, 1867 in Baldwin, Fla., and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Maude Stanley and Mrs. Gertrude Stanley, both of Miami, and Mrs. Ella Bayless, Daytona Beach; three sons, Jesse Roberts, Miami, Leroy and Stewart Roberts, who lived with their mother; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Mansfield and Mrs. Gertrude Shepherd, both of Sanford; two brothers, T. W. Lowe, Okeechobie, and W. S. Lowe, Miami.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. tomorrow at the Church of Christ, with E. L. Duncan, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewater. Settle Funeral Home is in charge.
