She graduated from Rochester High School and later earned a teaching certificate from Bellingham College. Jo married the love of her life, Garnet J. Aldrich Nov. 15, 1976.
Jo had a spirit to serve, working mostly in hospitality and education.
She was most honored within her role at Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel, as Team Member Ambassador. Jo worked at Lucky Eagle for 22 years. She was well known and loved by guests and especially team members. She was everyone’s “Gramma Jo”.
Jo was also an entrepreneur, she owned Jo’s Bingo Bus and the Paul Bunyan Tavern.
She was a member of the Confederated Tribes of Chehalis Reservation.
Jo had a passion for Elvis, bowling, fishing, shopping, shoes, watching the Seahawks and Mariners. She also loved traveling the world and could be found at county fairs, with grandchildren. Of great importance to Jo was her church family and praise and worship at Crossroads Foursquare Church.
She is survived by her children, Joyce Thomas, Boo Dominick, Lori Thomas, Carla Thomas, Dwayne Thomas, Pam (Lawrence) England, Gary Aldrich, Brian Aldrich and Kim Aldrich; grandchildren, Tonya Lytle, Becky Aldrich, Racheal Mendez, Mackenzie Jones, Sky Wallin, Cisco Mora, Tammy England, JaNessa Bumgarner, Rex McCrory, Aaron Myer, Elaine Myer, Johnny Bumgarner, Kachina Ralston, John McCrory, Trevor McCrory, Angelina Doggett, Shelby McCrory, Tyson England, Sarah Myer, Frasier Myer, Raven John, Junior Jack, Geo Jack and Rosa Ochoa; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Ray Bobb, Annie Jones, Jimmy Jones, Maynard Jones, Wayne Barr and Gladys Rarden.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Garnet; parents, Rex Wesley Bobb and Kathrine (Davis) Barr; infant son, Frasier Thomas; grandchildren, Tashina Bumgarner and Joseph Myer; and three great-grandchildren.
