Beloved husband of Iva E. Arant (nee Cardwell); dear father of Gregory (Catherine) Arant and Karen (Paul) Kanyuck.

Beloved grandfather of Chris, Brandon, Ricky, Jen, Matthew, Jackie, Ryan, Kayla and Kyle; dear great-grandfather of Coby and Kaleb; dear son of the late Jeffery and Lena Arant; dear brother of the late Guy (Peggy) and Dwight (Delores) Arant; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and dear friend. We will miss him dearly.

Norman was a Corporal in WW II, in the Artillery Division 1943-1946.

Norman retired as a Captain from the St. Louis City Fire Department after 36 years of dedicated service.

He spent his retirement years traveling with his wife, Iva, of 52 years and playing tennis.

Services:Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Mon., March 26, 12:30 p.m. Interment with full military honors in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flow ers, memorials to Backstoppers Appreciated.
