ADKINS, YVONNE N. (nee HALE), 82, passed away Friday, March 17, 2006, after a long illness in Sarasota, FL. She is survived by four daughters, Sue Martin of East Windsor, NJ, Marilyn Tarter of Shepherdsville, KY, Patricia Gilkerson of San Mateo, FL, and Clara Mitchem of Sarasota, FL; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at family-owned Scharrer-Hardy-Close Funeral Home, with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
