GREGORY, HELEN HARDY, 79, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Baptist Hospital East.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Daniel H. Gregory.

She is survived by her daughter and three grandchildren.

After attending Atherton High School for Girls, Helen graduated from Western Kentucky University and earned her masters from University of Kentucky. She then went on to teach in the Jefferson Co. Public School Systems for 32 years and was a member of KEA. All of us who were blessed to know her looked forward to her sense of humor and great love.

Even though her stay was short, our family would like to thank the staff of Twinbrook Apartments for all the love and care they provided for her.

Helen's memorial was 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with a private burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation was on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at Highlands.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Humane Society or Alzheimer's Association.
