Neale H. Johnson, of Wausau, 91 years of age hen he was called to rest on December 30, 2017. Neale married Adeline M. (Knapp) Johnson on February 20, 1954 and preceded him in death on March 30, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Mabel (Turner) Johnson and Harry A. Johnson.

He worked at the Wausau area hospitals for 30 years. Neale was active in the Boy Scouts, Wausau Barbershoppers, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he sang in the choir. He loved traveling, camping, the cabin up north, storytelling, wrote poetry in his younger days, collected salt and pepper shakers, and loved playing Wahoo with his friends.

(Knapp) Johnson on February 20, 1954 and preceded him in death on March 30, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Mabel (Turner) Johnson and Harry A. Johnson.
He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Johnson-Domino; son, Gary L. Johnson; and six grandchildren, Adam, Scott, Kris Ann, Christa, Holly, and Luke; and a sister, Dawn (Johnson) Revenaugh.
He worked at the Wausau area hospitals for 30 years. Neale was very active in the Boy Scouts, Wausau Barbershoppers, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he sang in the choir. He loved traveling, camping, the cabin up north, storytelling, wrote poetry in his younger days, collected salt and pepper shakers, and loved playing Wahoo with his friends.
A service of life will be at 12 noon on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 Stewart Ave., Wausau, with Rev. Zach Holdorf officiating. Family and friends may call beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, town of Texas, with military honors provided by the American Legion Montgomery-Plant-Dudley Post #10.
