Mr. Mann owned and operated the Mann Jewelry Store for some 68 years, retiring in December, 1983.
He was born Feb. 10, 1902, in Marshalltown, the son of Henry and Elizabeth Wilkie Mann. He received his education in Marshalltown and had lived here all of his life.
He was married to Norma Hamann in June, 1926. His widow survives, also a stepdaughter, Kathryn Dudley, Marshalltown; a sister, Grace P. Wiseman, Waterloo, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Mr. Mann was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Marshall Lodge 108, AF & AM; King Solomon Council 20, R & SM, and Signet Chapter 38, RAM.
