Elizabeth Ann Lunsford Bowler, 89, of Falmouth, entered into eternal life on January 2, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was the widow of Emmett Irvin Bowler and the mother of the late Kathy Ann Bowler Anglin, and grandmother of the late Randall Emmett Anglin. Survivors include her daughter, Sue Ann Bowler: two grandsons, Newton Jasper Anglin III of Atlanta, Georgia Edward Glen Wright of Spotsylvania; and one great-granddaughter, Scarlett Yvonne Anglin of Atlanta. Mrs. Bowler was born in Fredericksburg September 18, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Alton Parker Lunsford and Beatrice Ann Beach. She lived the majority of her life on the same street. Prior to her marriage to Emmett in 1946, she worked at Montgomery Ward and later at Judson T. Smith Studios. When her children were young adults, she worked at the T. Benton Gayle School as a secretary. She was a former member of the Falmouth Baptist Church and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service. The funeral will be held at noon Monday, January 8, 2018 at the funeral home and burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
