According to Flensburg Sacred Heart Church original death records, Anna (Kladis) Ivanyak-Vanyo, (listed as Anna Vaino) was born in Slovakia and died at age 88 on 28 Jan. 1920 due to asthma. She was buried on 31 Jan. in the old cemetery. Given she likely would have been 89 later that year, it is estimated she was born during 1831.

From Little Falls Herald, Friday, 30 Jan 1920:

Mrs. Anna Vaino died Wednesday morning at 10:30 at her home on Fourth street southeast, Little Falls, from asthma and old age. She was 88 years old. The funeral arrangements have not been made but burial will take place in Flensburg.

Anna Kladis married Joannes Ivanyak on Feb. 3, 1858, in Velky Saris, Presov, Slovakia. They had an unknown number of children born in Slovakia, at least two of whom (Andrew and Anna) came to Morrison County, MN. Her first husband died Jan 29,1880, in Vekly Saria.

She married Janos Vanyo in the same town on Nov. 7, 1888. Nothing more is known about him but presumably, Anna came to Morrison County to live with her daughter sometime after Janos died. One source estimated she did not immigrate until about 1910. Anna is listed in the Jan. 1920 census for Little Falls, MN, with the misspelled surname Vainao, age 88, living with her daughter Annie (Ivanek) Adams, also a widow, and grandson George Adams. She died very soon after that census.

The Ivanek (Ivanyak) surname was Americanized to Evans.
