Mrs. Mary K. (Allman) Hornor, 83, died November 1st at Panorama Convalescent Center in Lacey after a long struggle with cancer. She had several family members at her bedside. "Katye" was born January 24, 1923 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to O. L. and Freda Allman. A sister, Mrs. Betty Flint, of Wilmington, Delaware and three brothers, E.L., James R., and David D. Allman, all in the Clarksburg, West Virginia area survive her.

Mrs. Mary K. (Allman) Hornor, 83, died November 1st at Panorama Convalescent Center in Lacey after a long struggle with cancer. She had several family members at her bedside. "Katye" was born January 24, 1923 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to O. L. and Freda Allman. A sister, Mrs. Betty Flint, of Wilmington, Delaware and three brothers, E.L., James R., and David D. Allman, all in the Clarksburg, West Virginia area survive her.

She is also survived by her husband and soul mate of nearly 64 years, Lt. Col. Carl E. Hornor, of Lacey, Washington; five sons, Lt. Col. E. Greig Hornor, of Spokane, Washington, Charles A. Hornor, of Fountain, Colorado, Col. John R. Hornor, of Anacortes, Washington, Dr. Mark R. Hornor, of Spokane, Washington, Stephen D. Hornor, of Conway, Arkansas; and her beloved daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Croffoot, of Cupertino, California. She also leaves fourteen loving grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her family and her many friends.

"Katye" loved to travel and has visited every continent except Antarctica, "much too cold". She has been very active in volunteer work at Panorama City in Lacey and is an RSVP and Olympia World Affairs council member. "Katye" was trained in Medical X-Ray and laboratory technology and worked as a medical office manager after the end of her Air Force Wife travels.
