Richard Glenn Udy, 82, of Maryville Tennessee, passed away on January 7, 2018.

Richard was born in Tremonton, Utah on September 25, 1935. He graduated from Bear River High School. Richard was married to Tena Laynette Everett on November 15, 1973; they were married 44 years. Richard will be remembered as Bishop to many people. His Christ like love touched countless lives. He was always in the service of others and never met a stranger. If he wasn’t on the golf course you could find him watching a western movie, Florida Gator football or taking a Sunday nap with his cat, Tinker.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Udy and Madge Skinner, sister Bonnie Fuhriman and son Brent Udy. Richard is survived by his spouse Tena Laynette Udy, children Sherrie Day and Delbert Udy from his first marriage to Sharon Fuhriman, Gena Burrow (Jason), grandchildren Shawna Day-Marineau (Troy), Ryan Day, Kinsley Burrow and Brooks Burrow and great grandson Joey Day siblings Colleen Norr, Harold Udy and Blaine Udy.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Maryville, with a visitation at 1:00 P.M., service at 2:00 P.M. and burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery. Bishop Eric Olsen will be officiating.
