Mrs. Glenda Kay Gilliam, 66, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

Mrs. Gilliam was a life long resident of the Bay Minette and Perdido, Alabama area. She was retired from Vanity Fair as a seamstress for many years. She was a member of the Hall’s Fork Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Orie & Modelle Bryars, grandson, Tommie Alexander Gilliam, sister, Ora May White and brothers, Gene Autry Bryars, O.W. Bryars and Wiley Bryars.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Larry Gilliam of Perdido, AL; two sons, Kevin (Cynthia) Gilliam of Perdido, AL and Kirk Gilliam of Perdido, AL; one daughter, Larrica (Shawn) Major of Bon Secour, AL; two brothers, Glenn Bryars of Perdido, AL and Benjamin (Dee) Bryars of Perdido, AL; four sisters and brother-in-laws, Shelby (Joel) Brown of Perdido, AL, Peggy White of Perdido, AL, Shelia (Robert) Michaels of Enterprise, AL and Deborah (Randolph) Conway of Perdido, AL; three grandchildren, Lee Wesley (Kristina) Major, Samantha Gilliam and Nathan Gilliam. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Major and Sis. Helen Stewart officiating.

Burial will follow at the White Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 9:00 AM until service time service time at 10:00 AM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Terry Sprinkle, Dakota Bryars, Keith Ganey, Nicholas Shiver, Hank Paul and Eddie Gardner.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Rusty White.
