KIRBYVILLE—H. J. "Candy" Adams, 75, of Kirbyville died Friday at Jasper Memorial Hospital after an illness.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville with burial in Trout Creek Cemetery under the direction of Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.
A native of Winnfield, La., he lived in Kirbyville 35 years and was a retired candy salesman.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Peel Adams of Kirbyville; three sons, Ronnie Adams of Beaumont, Robert Adams of Jasper and Max Adams of Kirbyville; one daughter, Elaine Wright of Richardson; one brother, Elvin Adams of Winnsboro, LA.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
