Harold L. Badger of Warminster, PA passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

Born in Colmar, PA in 1924, he was the son of the late Harrison T. and Esther Pearl Yocum Badger.

Harold was a resident of Lansdale before entering military service in 1942. A Corporal in the Engineers in the U.S. Army in World War II, Harold returned home from Germany in 1946, and graduated from Spring Garden Institute of Technology in 1949. He was employed by Voight Illuminating Engineers and enlisted in the inactive reserves in 1948. Harold was called to active duty in 1950 and served in the 3rd Battalion, 35th Regiment of the 25th Infantry Division in Korea as a Sergeant First Class. He returned home in November of 1951 and was discharged from the Reserves in 1952. Harold was a lifelong employee of Merck until his retirement in 1989.

Harold is survived by his loving children; Faith Ann Lucas (Steve), Valerie Frank (Bill), and Gregory Badger as well as his niece and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his brothers Warren H. Badger and Harrison T. Badger, Jr. He also leaves behind his longtime friend and companion Muriel Hawthorne and her children and grandchildren whom he treated as if they were his own.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 14th from 2:00 PM until the start of his Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at the Chapel at Ann’s Choice Retirement Community, 31000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA, 18974.

Harold’s interment will take place at a future date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
