MILLERSBURG — M. Eileen Dye, 95, of Millersburg, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 19, at noon at St. John's Church of Millersburg, with pastor Tim Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. Friends may call Friday from 10 a.m.-noon at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John's Church of Millersburg, 8670 State Route 39, Millersburg 44654.

Eileen was born Nov. 19, 1922, in Layland, the daughter of Emmett and Delphia (Mullet) Young, and was a graduate of Holmesville High School. On April 28, 1944, she married Leland R. Dye. He preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1999.

In her youger years, Eileen worked on the family farm, was a cashier at Rodhe's IGA, and worked for the family's business, L.R. Dye & Sons.

She was a member of St. John's Church and a charter member of Wide View Garden Club, starting in 1957.

Eileen enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing cards and attending game night at St. John's Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching their activities and sporting events. She also loved sitting at Rodhe's visiting with friends.

Surviving are sons, sons, Edwin (Sue) Dye of Big Prairie and Richard Dye of Millersburg; grandchildren, Scott (Soon) Dye, Ryan (Kelly) Dye, Travis (Shannon) Dye, Trent (Michelle) Dye, Tricia (Ryan) Crilow, Troy Dye and Tristin (Adam) Knepp; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ralph Dean Young of Wooster.

She was preceded in death by her her husband, Leland; her parents; a brother, Andrew (Doris) Young; and her sister, Bernice (Dean) Kiser.
