He was born July 5, 1876, in Burtchville Township, and was a lifelong area resident. He was la member of Port Huron Lodge No. 261, IOOF.
His wife, Mrs. Ella Sanderson, died May 7, 1960.
Mr. Sanderson is survived by two sons, Earl Sanderson, Tucson, Ariz., and Raymond Sanderson, Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. George Brown, Croswell, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Arthur Smith Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. William Dunstan, pastor of Washington Avenue Methodist Church. Burial will be in Croswell Cemetery.
