Tom Turner Owens of Keller, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Tom was born on September 27, 1928 and was a life-long resident of Keller. He graduated from Keller High School in 1945, and was married to his wife, Evelyn, for 64 years. Tom served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from Grinnell Fire Protection after 40 years of service in the construction industry. An Active member of the community, Tom regularly volunteered at the Keller Community Storehouse and served at church. Throughout his life he enjoyed bowling, golf, woodworking, and playing cards or dominoes with friends. Tom was a man of integrity who always thought of others before himself. His servant's heart, humble nature, and generous spirit were a blessing to all who knew him.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Ruby Owens; and two brothers, Grant and Bert.
Survivors: Wife, Evelyn Owens; daughter, Pris Brown and husband, Jimmy; son, Robert Owens and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Jason Mullins, Kelly McDowell, Callie Harrison, Haley Stelly, and Ben Brown; as well as eight great-grand children.
