Carrie Lee Foutz, 88, of Hagerstown, MD, (formerly of Martinsburg) died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Ravenwood Lutheran Village in Hagerstown.
Carrie was born June 5, 1918 in Jefferson County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Homer H. and Ethyl L. Jones Woodward.
She loved and enjoyed being a homemaker and a seamstress.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, David "Jack" Foutz and her loving daughter, Nancy Williams and husband, Reynolds, of Annandale, VA. She is also survived by a brother, Nathan Woodward and wife, Dorothy; a sister, Alice Cole; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was very much loved, will be greatly missed and frequently remembered by those left behind.
She was preceded in death by her son, William "Bussie" Fritts and her daughter, Mary Jacqueline
Carper.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22nd at the Brown Funeral Home with Rev. John R. Yost officiating.
Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
