Jackie was born November 4, 1939 at his home in Washita, Oklahoma to Lester and Pearlene (Dabney) Boone.
He was raised in Stecker and Apache, Oklahoma where he grew up on a farm. He had good work ethics and worked hard all his life. He graduated from Apache High School in 1957.
He joined the United States Army at the age 21 and served for 3 years, then joined the United States Air Force. While at Whiteman Air Force Base, he was responsible for telephone communications on the
minuteman missiles. Jackie retired from the military and served our country proudly.
After his military service he took a job installing credit card machines. He and Dessa lived in
Overland Park, Kansas for 38 years and then moved to Hawaii in September 2017 to be closer
to their son.
