Daughter of Thomas Richard Cain and Lela (Sheppard) Cain - Wife of (1) Charles Edgar Moore, (2) C.C. Cook.

"Viva Mae Cook, 63, Lexington, died Sunday at the Central Baptist Hospital after an illness of several months.

A native of Wayne County, she was born Sept. 1, 1907, the daughter of Thomas Richard Cain and Lela Elizabeth Shepperd, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1950, she was married to C.C. Cook.

Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Farris-Morris-Hislope, Wednesday at 1 p.m. and will be officiated by the Rev. C.E. Jacobs. Burial will be in the Tanner Cemetery.

In addition to her husband, other survivors include; three children, Charles R. Moore, Williston, Fla., Donald E. Moore, Lexington, and Mrs. Carl Herrin, Greenwood, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Linnie Girdler, Somerset, and Mrs. Sheldon Turner, Norwood, Ohio.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren.

Farris-Morris-Hislope is in charge of the arrangements."
