She was born May 10, 1927 in Jersey Shore to Ernest and Florence Embick Maggs.
Ida Mary was a graduate of the Jersey Shore High School and was united in marriage to Robert Condon, Sr., on Feb. 9, 1946, who passed away March 8, 2016. Ida and Robert spent most of their lives farming. She attended the Epworth Methodist Church in Jersey Shore.
Ida Mary enjoyed crocheting, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Ida is survived by a son, Robert L. Condon Jr., of Woolrich; two daughters, Ida May (Paul) Harris, of Little Plum Run, and Tammy Hilty, of Lock Haven; one sister Evelyn (Art) Frederick, of Jersey Shore; one son-in-law, Howard Wooding.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Gwen (Jeff) Steiner, Paul Harris, Jr., Kodi (Megan) Wooding and Tyler (Kourtney) Wooding; five great-grandchildren, Alexa and Zoey Steiner, Matthew, Andrew, and Heather Harris; three great-great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Ida Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Hughs and her husband Russell Hughes and her brother Ernest Jr.
Funeral Services for Ida Mary Condon will be held Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, officiating will be Pastor James R. Behrens of the Shamokin Dam Charge. Interment will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received at the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC one hour prior to services.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Ida Marys name to American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, Pa. 17701
