Obituary for Diane "Dee" Corridori-Davidson
Diane “Dee” Corridori-Davidson, 65 of Ramsey passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2018 at her home with her loving husband by her side.
She was born November 2, 1952 in Taylorville the daughter of Ernest and Gail Marilyn (Yonker) Connolly. She married Kevin Corridori and he preceded her in death in 1982. She married James Davidson on October 7, 1983 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oconee and he survives her passing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by siblings Carol (Paul) Cook of Assumption, Mike Connolly of Assumption, Pat (Lloyd) Puckett of Royalton, IL, nieces Chris (Rick) Cook-Leitz, Paula (Mike) Hudson, Summer Combs and nephew Benjamin Thompson, in addition to many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband and sister in infancy Susan Connolly.
Diane received her LPN at Capital Area School of Nursing in Springfield and graduated as a Registered Nurse from Eastern Illinois University. As a Registered Nurse, she had worked at Prairie Rose Health Care for nearly 25 years where she served in various capacities of nursing. Her love of Nursing was truly obtained by helping the patients. She was dedicated to Nursing and a champion for her older residence, even becoming emotionally close to them. She loved motorcycle rides and was proudly property of The Straight Shooter Motorcycle Club. Diane loved spending time with her nieces and nephew and extended family, blood or not. She especially loved her two dogs, Sarah and Chester very, very much.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 19, 2018 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home with Father Rodney Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 19, 2018 from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. A future celebration of life will be held at later date for family and friends.
Memorials in her honor may be made to the Montgomery County Cancer Association, 19 Circle Drive, Litchfield, IL 62056 and will be received by the McCracken-Dean Funeral Home which is assisting Diane’s family with arrangements.
