Wallace Dale Green, 90, our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, January 17, 2018.

Dad was born September 18, 1927 in Ogden Utah to Wallace J and Clarice Shaw Green. He graduated from Ogden High in 1945. After enlisting in the U.S. Army, he served at Ft. Lewis, WA. While home on leave, he proposed to his high school sweetheart, Betty Lane. They were married on May 15, 1946. They returned to live in Washington until dad was discharged from the Army. On January 8, 1976, their marriage vows were solemnized in the Ogden LDS temple.

Dad and Mom moved to Morgan, Utah where he was self-employed as a consignee for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 25 years. He became a licensed agent for Farm Bureau, retiring in 1990. He was an active member of the VFW and American Legion. He and mom spent many happy times after retirement traveling across the country in their motorhome. He was an active member of the LDS church, serving in many callings including counselor in the bishopric. He and Mom served in the Chicago, Illinois mission where they were able to influence many lives.

Dad is survived by his son, Craig (Sherilynn) Green, daughter, Patricia (Roy) Mikesell, grandchildren Lance (Cindee) Mikesell, Chris (Kimberly) Mikesell, Greg (Cydnee) Mikesell, Melanie (Joe) Craven, Susanna (Michael) Baker and Gilbert (Heather) Green; 23 Great grandchildren and three Great-great grandchildren with three more on the way. He is also survived by his sisters, Janet (Hal) Stapley, Renae Follett, a sister in law, Colleen Lane and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Dad was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Betty Lou, his parents, one brother, Keith and his beloved grandsons James D Green and Brian H Mikesell.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Rock Church, 10 W. Young Street, Morgan, Ut. A viewing will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 45 West 200 North, Morgan, UT and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be at the South Morgan Cemetery.
