Susanna Virginia (Dawson) Allamong, 93, of Morgantown, formerly of Keyser, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born on Feb. 2, 1909, at Headsville, the daughter of the late James Hillary and Ethel Clara (Parrill) Dawson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Clayton Allamong, on June 23, 1967; a son, Irwin Elmo Allamong; a daughter, Evangeline V. Boyd; a grandson, Virgil Clayton Allamong III; a brother, Cecil Dawson; and a sister, Mabel Eagle.
Mrs. Allamong was a homemaker and was a member of Harner's Chapel United Methodist Church in Morgantown.
Surviving are two sons; two sisters; four grandchildren. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
At Mrs. Allamong's request, visitation and services will be private for the family. Interment will be in the Queen's Point Cemetery, Keyser. The Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
