Alice E. Dallas

Alice E. Dallas, 81, of Valley City, died Sunday at Medina General Hospital where she had been a member of the board of trustees since 1962.

Born in Philadelphia, she lived in Valley City since 1954.

Mrs. Dallas was active with Ohio Association of of Garden Clubs, serving as a counselor, an accredited judge for 28 years, state secretary five years, and regional secretary five years, and regional director of a dive county area. She also was past president of Valley City Garden Club.

She was a retired school teacher.

Mrs. Dallas is survived by a brother, Edwin Servin of Doylestown, Pa.

Her husband Thomas preceded her in death Nov. 14, 1988.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Rd., Valley City.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Kerns officiating.

Burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City.
