He was born on January 31, 1948 in Bremerton, Washington to Clarence Max Frederick and Katherine Angelica (Adascheck) Dahlke.

He graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1966.

He served in the United States Army.

On 22 February 1971 he married Charlott Ann Ray in Port Orchard, Washington. After about 18 years of marriage they divorced in Pierce County, Washington on 6 September 1989.

Dale then married Charisse Elaine (Orona) Dawson on January 14, 2000 in Port Orchard, Washington.

He was an Electrical - Planner & Elstimator at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, for 30 plus years.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing and golfing.

Dale is survived by his wife Charisse, parents Clarence and Katherine, step-son Matthew, daughter Meghan, step-daughters Kelli and Ashley, brothers David, Merlin, Andy and Joel and brother Will, sister Jane, and sister Ruth.
