Bobby Allen Morgan, 62, passed onto his eternal home Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, surrounded by his family. Bobby was born Aug. 21, 1955, to Bobby and Doonie in Rocky Mount, N.C. At eight months old, they moved to Williamsburg, Va., where he spent his remaining years. He attended Fork Union Military Academy and John Tyler Community College. Bobby briefly served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.

Bobby loved fishing and hunting, gardening, horseback riding, and he especially loved walking on nature trails with his son. Most of all, he treasured the precious time spent with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all he knew.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Bobby G. Morgan; and brother, Thurman Keith. Left to cherish his memory are his mother; Doonie Gray Morgan Cole; loving wife, Candace Morgan; son, Keith Allen; daughters, Jennifer M. Ashburn and Miranda (Dan) Hausman; and granchildren, Olivia, Ainsely, Dylan, Jolene and Adalina.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 24, with a service immediately following at Bucktrout of Williamsburg Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park with military honors. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Heartland Hospice. They would especially like to thank Bobby's nurse, Amy, for whom he had a beautiful connection with.
