Lois Faye Carter Adamo was born on March 19, 1928 to Britton Stonewall Carter and Ruby Naomi Foster Carter in Weleetka, Oklahoma. She slipped into eternity on Sunday, January 21, 2018. She and her twin sister, Doris Maye Carter Robnett were the youngest siblings in a family of eight children. On December 24, 1945 she married Marion Adamo in Henryetta, Ok. They had a son, Frankie Dean Adamo and a daughter Janna Marie Adamo. Lois was a wonderful homemaker, baker and cook, and loved to watch football with her husband, go to her children’s school events, sing and dance. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Britton and Naomi Carter, husband Marion Adamo, Brother Orval Carter and sisters Othalene Ellard, Wilene Williams, Marguerite Brazell, Virginia Clayton, Helen Carter and Doris Robnett. She is also preceded in death by nephew Nickie Brazell, David Martin and nieces Karen Price and Jonda Robnett. Funeral service will be 10:30 am, Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Randy Shaddox officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka, OK.
