Brian C. Kaleita October 6, 1947 January 21, 2018 Brian C. Kaleita, 70, of State College, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He was born October 6, 1947, on Long Island, N.Y., a son of Rose Ann Kaleita and the late George Kaleita. He graduated from Fordham University in 1968 and worked in state government until 2003. He was a real estate investor from 1978 until his death. Brian was a fearless fighter for the causes and principles he believed in, and a strong and faithful advocate for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 49 years, Margo Kaleita; his daughters, Amy Forbes and her husband, Greg, of Ames, Iowa, Susan Kaleita and her husband, John Moeller, of Tucson, Ariz., and Maggie Kaleita, of State College; three brothers, Bruce, Robert and Douglas Kaleita; and two precious granddaughters, Lilah and Celia Forbes. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Allison, and young son Steven. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Brian's great joy was his lake house, and he loved spending time there with his family. Friends will be received at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Our Lady of Victory, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College. Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday following the visitation, with Monsignor Philip Saylor, and Father Neil Dadey con- celebrating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
