He received an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Trident Tech in Charleston, S. C. He retired from the U. S. Air Force. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 19, 1994, at 3:00 P.M., at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Shadow Lawn Cemetery. Smith & Gaston Southside is directing. Survivors: His wife; a daughter, two sons; and two grandsons.
