He was born November 14, 1920, in Bentonville, Arkansas, the son of Jessie and Gracie (McCool) Blevins. On August 1, 1949 in Berryville, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Vivian Stephens, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Ronnie Blevins and his wife, Teresa of Neosho, Missouri and Jackie Blevins and his wife, Lisa of Stella, Missouri; one daughter, Beverly Anderson of Stella; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, C. J. and three brothers.
Clovis moved to Missouri as a young man and worked as a logger for a saw mill. Clovis was an outdoorsman and loved to deer hunt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 12, 2007, in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton, Missouri. Pastor Melvin Anders will conduct the services. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Stella, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday in McQueen Funeral Home.
