Sharon Kay Downing, 44, Lawrence, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. Jerry Mercer officiating. Burial will be in the Reno Cemetery.
Mrs. Downing died of cancer Sunday at her home.
She was born June 20, 1946, in Lawrence and attended Lawrence public schools. She was an assistant manager for the Village Inn restaurant for 11 years and was active in local bowling leagues.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Patterson, Lawrence; a son, Marcus, Fort Riley; two daughters, Tammy Graham and Michelle Downing, both of Topeka; a brother, John Patterson, Lawrence, a half-brother, Joseph Patterson, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Patty Patterson, Lawrence; a half-sister Elizabeth Hogan, Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
