Anna L. Accorsi 102, of Franklin, died peacefully, with family at her side, Sunday Jan. 21, 2018 at the Medway Country Manor, following an illness.

Born November 6, 1915 in Franklin, a daughter of the late Roberto and Premiera (Viola) Accorsi, she was raised Franklin and educated at the Perkins School for the Blind.

Anna worked as a seamstress for the Woolson House Industries and assisted in the operation of the family owned Akin Bak Farm in Franklin.

She is survived by 3 sisters, Elizabeth Accorsi, Eleanor M. Costello, and Rachel A. Accorsi, all of Franklin and many nieces & nephews.

Anna was the sister of the late Armando & Robert Accorsi, Emma Accorsi, Santina Crawford, Melina Taggart and Deglia Galipeau.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral, Friday Jan. 26th, with visitation beginning at 9:30am at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square at 11AM.

Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Perkins School For The Blind 175 North Beacon St. Watertown, MA 02472.
