Howard Lee Meneley, age 85, a Lawton, OK resident, formerly a longtime Atoka County resident, was born on Friday, July 22, 1932, to William Howard and Myrtle Halley (Conn) Meneley, at Roff, OK. Howard passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Lawton, OK. He attended school at Limestone Gap. Howard was an Oil Field Superintendent. Howard proudly served his country in The Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Jo Ann Brewer on November 10, 1951 at Durant, Ok. She preceded him in death in 2001. He later married Loretta (Golden) in 2001at Boggy Depot, OK. Howard was a member of Church of Christ. He enjoyed wood working, working in the shop and reading. Howard is preceded in death by his parents, William and Myrtle Halley (Conn) Meneley; first wife, Jo Ann Meneley; son, Brandon Meneley; sisters, Billie Louise Garside, Juanita Faye Meneley, Mary Katherine Bowen, Dessie Mae Meneley. Service will be held Jan. 29, 2018 at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Atoka, OK. Burial wil be at Stringtown Cemetery.
