G. W. NORTON TAKEN BY DEATH
Passes At Home Yesterday; Was A Native Of New York State -
George W. Norton, 89, who had been an invalid for the past month, passed away Tuesday. Born in New York State on August 20, 1851, he had lived for the past three years at 109 west Montcalm street. Previous to that time he had made his home at Chesterton, Indiana, for 45 years. Mrs. Norton preceded him in death two years ago.
Surviving are two sons, N. C. of Durand and W. C. of Greenville and three grandchildren.
Funeral services have been arranged by the Faber Funeral Home for Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the funeral home with Rev. Paul E. Tucker officiating and with burial in Forest Home cemetery.
