PONTOTOC – Q.T. Aron, 77, died Monday, April 5, 2010, after a long illness. He was born Sept. 24, 1932, in Sledge. He graduated from Toccopola High School and attended Itawamba Junior College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired factory worker and a longtime member of County Line Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and his family.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at County Line Baptist Church in Pontotoc with Bro. Wayne Cobb officiating. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Vee Aron of Pontotoc; one daughter, Bonnie (Bill) Sisco of Pontotoc; one son, Jeff Aron of Atlanta, Ga.; one grandson, D.J. (Emily) Fields of Pontotoc; one granddaughter, Rachel (Ryan) Swanson of Harbin, China; one great-granddaughter, Leah Fields of Pontotoc; two sisters, Dorothy (Carol) McDonald of Crawford, Ala., and Lois (Keith) Matkins of Pontotoc; three brothers, Cecil (Clarene) Aron of Pontotoc, L.V. (Magdalene) Aron of Forestdale, Ala., and J.C. (Sue) Aaron of Pontotoc; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, G.W. and Dorothy “Dolly” Aron; a sister, Mary White; and three brothers, Ekoy, Leroy and George W. Aron.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Aaron, Ricky Aron, Brian Matkins, Scotty McCormick, Mike Flaherty and Ray Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Men’s Sunday School Class at County Line Baptist Church; and B.J. Fields, Ryan Swanson and Bill Sisco.
