1925 - 2018
Cora Bell "Carol" Bentley, passed away January 14, 2018. Born on January 9, 1925 to Melvin and Rosa (Horn) Hinkle. She is preceded in death by her parents and her children Barbara Bentley Wheeler and Donald Bentley. Cora was a long time south side of Columbus resident and most recently owner of Cardos Pizza on Lockbourne Road. She is survived by brother, Earmel Hinkle; grandchildren, Tina Weese and Larry Kemper; 6 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and long time neighbor and friend, Nancy Stone. The family would like to express their gratitude to Bella Care Hospice, Family Focus Home Health, and her caregivers. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17, from 11 am until the time of funeral service at 1 pm at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. Interment Obetz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to hospice or the charity of your choice.
