Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Benoit, 61, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, in Johnson Funeral Home. Dan Landry will officiate. Burial will be in Consoiata Cemetery. Visitation is 2-10 p.m. today, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m., and from 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Benoit died at 11 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 1999, in her residence.
A native of Mowata, she had lived in Lake Charles most of her life. She was a member of the Cajun French Music Association.
Survivors include three sons, Keith Boone of Lafayette, Karl Boone of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Robert Boone of Longville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
