A.T. Worsham, age 91, of Abilene, Texas, (former resident of Sweetwater, Texas) passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Hendrick Hospice Care Center.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Dr. Chris Stephens officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

A.T. was born on April 5, 1926 in Sweetwater, Texas to Arthur and Eula (Grayson) Worsham. He married Oleta Hammons on September 3, 1946 in Sweetwater, Texas. He was a Baptist and a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. He worked for City of Abilene in the parks and recreation department for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his daughter, Alma Lou Cross of Abilene, Texas; three grandchildren, Paul Cross and Nikki, David Alexander Ryan and Stephanie, and James Ryan, Jr. and Gayle; five great grandchildren, Alexander, Brandon, Kaylee, Madison and Caleb; sister-in-law, Rosie Baxter of Sweetwater, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Oleta Worsham; son, Tony Worsham; and daughter, Sharon Kay Ryan; and several brothers and one sister.
