Rosemary Vena Brooks, age 61, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Edgemont Healthcare, in Cynthiana. Born in Harrison County, Kentucky, on December 21, 1953, to the late Everett Benjamin and Anna Theresa Perraut Brooks, she was a retired manager from Sears, Roebuck and Company, a member of Kiwani's International, in Danville, a member of Saint Edward Catholic Church and a member of the Alumni Association.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Everett Brooks. She is survived by: a brother, Dr. Michael (Kim) Brooks, of Cynthiana; three sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Wolf, of Lexington, Sharon Marie Brooks, of Louisville, and Frances (Mike) Kolbeson, of Austin, Texas; and several nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Saint Edward Catholic Church by Rev. Douglas Lauer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Edward Catholic School.
