METTER - Betty Sue Sapp Adamson, 73, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at Cedar Plantation Assisted Living.

The Candler County native was the daughter of the late James Walton and Callie Lanier Sapp.

After graduation, she was secretary at Metter High School for seven years. She retired after many years with Wal-Mart where she began as a bookkeeper for Woolworth's.

Betty Sue attended the Pulaski Baptist Church and loved being outside working in her yards.

She was the widow of Charles Adamson.

Survivors are nieces and a nephew, Margie Collins of College Park, MD, Ann Wallace Robertson of Metter, Susan Wallace Wright of Tampa, FL, Buddy Wallace of Excelsior, Ruthie Wallace of Tampa and Melanie Wallace Brown of Twin City.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, 5:30-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Remembrances may be made to the Pulaski Baptist Church, POB 113, Pulaski, GA 30451.
