Mrs. Arens passed away at 7:37pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at West Vue Nursing Center.
She was born April 4, 1926, at St. Louis, Missouri, to John Schefzik and Anna Zipps Schefzik. On November 14, 1944, she was married at St. Louis, Missouri, to Richard L. Arens. She was a superb homemaker and enjoyed knitting, crafts and loved her garden. Mrs. Arens was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was very faithful to her Church.
She is survived by five children, Daniel Arens and wife, Mary, Cathy Driscoll and husband, Steve, Jill A. Schara and husband, William, Guy A. Arens and wife, Anne Marie and Bradley T. Arens; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, one son, Lawrence Kent Arens and one half-sister, Minnie Masters, preceded her in death.
Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
