Private services were held Friday followed by cremation by Memory Gardens Crematory. Arrangements were by Schooler-Gordon Colonial Chapel.
Ms. Eakin was born in Abilene, and had lived in Borger for 43 years. She graduated from Phillips High School and Frank Phillips College. She was a nurse's aide.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.O. Eakin of Borger; and two sisters, Teresa Eakin Russell of Borger and Phyllis Eakin Martin of Myra.
