Edna Helena Porche Babin was the wife of Paul Babin. They made their home in Bayou Blue Louisiana Edna only spoke the French Language but she understood the English language well enough to hold conversations by her speaking French and being answered in English. She was my grandmother and as a child I use to enjoy visiting her and eating some pap (a pudding ) which she made so good .
