Syble Nadine (Mathis) Moore, 75, of Conway, passed away on February 14, 2008. Born in Mayflower, Arkansas on March 29, 1932, she was a daughter to the late Fred Thomas and Hazel Cordel (Powell) Mathis. Syble was a loving mother and grandmother who worked as a waitress at Clausen's and I-40 restaurants. The father of her children Samuel Moore also preceded her in death.
Syble is survived by three daughters: Paula Carter of Mayflower, AR, Sandra Meyer and husband Jerry of Bismark, MO and Margie Venable and husband Tim of Mayflower, AR; three sons: Michael Caldwell and wife Marie of Belleire, MI, David Moore and Steven Moore and wife Sandra of Conway, AR; three sisters Doris Wooley of Jacksonville, AR, Peggy Mathis of Vilonia, AR, and Kathy Smith of Mayflower, AR; a brother Thomas Mathis of Vilonia, AR, eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 18, 2008, at Oak Bowery Cemetery in Conway. Pallbearers are Justin Venable, Tim Ward, Kenneth Moore, Dusty Mathis, Michael Mathis, Jerry Myer and Andy McCartney.
