A shocking Accident—Ebenezer Thompson Struck by a Train.
Ebenezer Thompson, aged forty-four years, a painter living in West Haven, who has of late exhibited signs of mental derangement, wandered onto the tracks of the Consolidated road in West Haven yesterday afternoon and was struck and instantly killed by an east-bound train. Medical Examiner Barnett was called and returned a finding of accidental death. The deceased leaves three brothers and four sisters, who reside in West Haven. The funeral of Mr. Thompson will take place this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Oak Grove cemetery, West Haven. Rev. Mr. Gesner will officiate.
