FRANK PLIMIER, NATIVE SON OF GOLETA, DIES

Frank C. Plimier of Goleta died Tuesday at a local hospital. He was born in Goleta in 1896, and for the last 18 years was a rancher as well as representative of the Seaside Oil Company for that district.

A member of the Goleta Rotary Club, Mr. Plimier was also a past chancellor commander of the Knights of Pythias, a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Santa Barbara American Legion post.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. M. Marguerite Plimier, and two children , David Ten Eyck and Frank C. Plimier, Jr., as well as two sisters, Mrs. Huey Brown of New York and Mrs. Mary Gabriel of Eureka, Calif., and three brothers, Barry, Raymond and Edward Plimier, all of Santa Barbara. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. His mother was the late Mrs. Rosa Pico, a member of a pioneer Santa Barbara family.

Services will be held Friday at the Welch and Ryce chapel, 15 East Sola street, and will be conducted by Rev. Curtis Nims of Goleta. Interment will be in Santa Barbara cemetery.
