William Frank Abbott

ABBOTT William Frank Abbott died on September 11, 2011. He was born in Brooklyn, New york in 1928. He graduated from Lafayette College with a BS in Engineering. He served in the United States Army in the Philippines. He worked for Mobil Oil for over 35 years. William Abbott was predeceased by his father William W. Abbott and mother Elizabeth Frank Abbott. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Prudence Granger Abbott, his daughter Mary Elizabeth Morse and her husband Robert Morse of Massachusetts, his son William George Abbott and his wife Delores Abbott of Colorado, and four grandchildren, Sarah Morse, Matthew Morse, Emily Abbott and Ryan Abbott and his wife Jamie Abbott. Visitation is at St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Mobile on Friday September 16th at 10AM. A memorial service will follow at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church or a charity of your choice.
