Candler - Rodney Nicholes Morgan, age 64, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Mr. Morgan was born January 27, 1953 to the late Noah W. Morgan and the late Mattie Davis Morgan. He was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and had been employed with the American Vault Company in Candler and also Pisgah Manor with 17 years of dedicated service. Rodney enjoyed spending time at flea markets and he was also an avid fisherman. He will forever be remembered as a loving brother and friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Carolyn Hendrix and Ellen Lunsford; a sister-in-law, Katheryn Morgan; a nephew, Jeff Morgan and also an infant nephew, Noah Morgan.
Surviving are his brothers, Arnold Morgan of Candler and Randy Morgan and his wife, Darlene Morgan of Oakley; a sister, Christine Boza of Candler nieces, Cynthia Freck and Angie Morgan and many friends.
The Morgan family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Pisgah Manor for their excellent care and kindness shown to Rodney and our family.
