Donald L. Beierle, 82, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, with family by his side at Morys Haven in Columbus.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Evangelical Free Church in Columbus. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus.

Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Evangelical Free Church in Columbus.

Donald L. Beierle was born July 20, 1935, in Columbus to Jess and Clara (Madura) Beierle. He attended Highland Park School. Don worked at the Y-Knot Drive Inn for many years and then at the Elks Country Club for over 25 years. He was a past member of the Eagles Club. Don enjoyed bowling, nature, his pets and visiting with relatives and friends. He was a beloved brother and uncle to his family.

He is survived by sister Shirley Miller-Peterson of Lebanon, Oregon, 18 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews

He was preceded in death by parents Jess and Clara Beierle; sisters Marge Miller and Betty Janssen-Behlen; brother Jack Beierle; brothers-in-law Marvin Miller, Gib Janssen, Ed Behlen, Henry Miller and Holly Peterson and sister-in-law Mary Jo Beierle.
